Germany GfK consumer confidence index and create a new high for 15 months

Germany market research agency GfK27 published on Germany's data show that consumer confidence index for the month of September will be August 3.4 points rose to 3.7 point, for the fourth consecutive month, and nearly 15 months to new high, while more than economists forecast 3.6 points.

GfK index is based on a 2000 survey of consumers called Germany. Although the GfK overall consumer confidence index forecast is next month, but its three elements — the economic prospects of the indicators, income indicators and tendency indicators, balance of purchase of the status of this month.

GfK report shows that the public economic pessimism has gradually dissipated, the mentality and the inflation rate remains low so that the actual buying power of consumers. Analysts believe that consumer confidence index for further recovery will depend on the performance of the labour market.
