The Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa Jenner 12, said that Africa is protected by the first wave of financial crises affecting smaller, but with the second wave of financial crises hit, African export earnings decline, international capital flows to Africa, the African economy suffered heavy losses.
Jenner on that day in the fourth African Economic Conference that this context suggests that African economic previous consecutive years to maintain growth depends primarily on export revenue increase and international capital flows, on the other hand that cruel face of financial crisis, the African legacy of the economic development model no longer fit. But Jenner stressed that the current financial crisis also presents opportunities for Africa, Africa should reposition the development model, so that sustainable economic progress towards goal.
The fourth African Economic Conference this month, 11 to 13 October in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, for a period of 3 days on the theme "the cultivation of the financial crisis."
