Iceland's central bank cut interest rates by 0.5% during the third.
<P> According to the Central Bank of Iceland announced on May 5, again from today the central bank reduced the benchmark interest rate by 0.5% to 8.5%. .Meanwhile, the corresponding current account deposit rate fell to 7.0%, the highest 28-day certificates of deposit rate to 8.25% bid, 7 days a secured loan rate to 8.5%, the overnight lending rate fell to 10.0%. .This is the third time this year the central bank cut the ice, after the two were in the January 27 and March 17, were 0.5% rate. .</ P>.
